On Sunday 15 or so people gathered to celebrate World Rivers Day, to sing songs and tell stories of our local waterways, Gaywood and Great Ouse rivers. The “rights of the river” was also read out, declaring rivers should have the right to flow unimpeded, to be free from pollution, and to have sustainable aquifers, among other rights.
